Privacy Policy

Your birth details are personal, and we treat them that way. This policy explains what AstroShruti collects, why, how we keep it safe, and the control you have over it. In short: we collect only what we need to compute your astrology, we use it only to serve you, we store it securely, and we never sell it.

We collect two kinds of information. The first is your account details — your name and email address, obtained when you sign in with Google. The second is the birth data you enter: the date, time and place of birth for yourself and for any kundalis you create, along with optional notes such as a person’s name, relationship or recorded life events. We also keep the content of the reports and Agastya AI conversations you generate, so you can return to them.

We do not ask for information we do not need to do astrology for you.

Your birth data is the input to your astrology, and that is what we use it for: to compute your kundalis, divisional charts, dashas, KP and Jaimini analyses, your panchang and muhurat, your match-making, and to power the Agastya AI conversations and reports you choose to generate. Your account details let us sign you in, keep your saved kundalis tied to you, and — through Help & Support — reply to you privately.

We do not use your birth data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Your data is stored securely and tied to your account. AstroShruti runs on established cloud infrastructure: our application backend is hosted on Render, our database (Postgres) on Supabase, and the website is served through Cloudflare Pages. Access is protected by authentication and row-level security, so your kundalis are visible to you — not to other users.

You are in control of your data. From within the app you can view, edit and delete your saved kundalis and manage your account at any time. Deleting a kundali removes it and the charts computed from it. If you would like your account and all associated data removed entirely, contact us at support@astroshruti.ai and we will take care of it.

When you use Agastya AI, the relevant chart and timing context is shared with the AI so it can answer your question. Agastya has a memory feature you can manage and a temporary-chat mode for questions you would rather it not retain. You decide what it remembers.

AstroShruti is intended for adults. Where a chart is created for a child, it is created and managed by the adult account holder, who is responsible for that data.

As the product evolves we may update this policy. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date shown on this page. Continued use of AstroShruti after an update means you accept the current policy.
