Yes — the core of AstroShruti is free for everyone. That includes the full Panchang (tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, vara), Dainik Muhurat (Choghadiya, Hora and day windows), the Hindu Calendar with festivals, live Gochar (transits), birth-chart kundalis, D1–D60 divisional charts, 17 dasha systems, KP and Jaimini tools, Yogas and Doshas, Kundli Milan (match-making), and most PDF reports. A paid tier is only needed for advanced AI and a few specialist features.

Plus adds PDF reports together with Agastya AI at a monthly allowance (5 questions), plus AI editions of some reports such as Match Making and Varshphal. Pro unlocks unlimited Agastya AI, the AI Agents, Pro-only charts and reports (for example the KP Evidence Sheet and the Pro Yearly AI Analysis), and the Yantras — interactive instruments in the Bhrigushala workspace. The everyday panchang, calendar and chart tools stay free at every tier.

AstroShruti offers 26 ayanamshas, with Lahiri set as the default, and 13 house systems, all selectable in Settings — plus a dedicated KP mode for Krishnamurti Paddhati work. You can choose the reckoning your tradition or teacher follows, and the whole app recomputes to match.

Positions are computed from the Swiss Ephemeris, the same high-precision engine professionals rely on. Panchang, muhurat and dasha timings are calculated to the minute for the exact place and date you enter — not a generic city. We validate our results externally against sources such as AstroSage and JPL Horizons, so the numbers are ones you can trust and defend.

Agastya is our AI astrologer, named for the sage Agastya. It reads your charts, dashas and timing and answers in plain language — like a knowledgeable friend who has studied your kundali. It has memory, so it remembers context you have shared, and a temporary-chat mode for questions you would rather it not keep. For its narrative reports it cites classical sources. It is a guide, never a replacement for your own judgement.

Yes. The birth data you enter is used only to compute your astrology and to power the Agastya AI conversations and reports you choose to generate. It is stored securely, tied to your account, and never sold. You can view, edit and delete your kundalis and account at any time, and you can contact support to request full data removal. Yes — AstroShruti is available on Android and iOS, and also runs on the web at astroshruti.ai. Your account, kundalis and settings stay in sync across them, so you can start on your phone and continue on a larger screen.

AstroShruti is available in English and हिंदी (Hindi) throughout — the interface, the panchang, the muhurat content and much more. You can switch language at any time, and PDF reports can be generated in Hindi as well.

Yes. Kundli Milan is free and thorough: it computes the full Ashtakoota Guna Milan, Mangal Dosha for both charts, the 10-Porutham (South Indian) system, and draws on the D1, D9, KP and dasha pictures. Where a tradition would cancel a dosha, we surface the cancellation clearly rather than silently applying it, so you see the whole reasoning.

Yes. AstroShruti generates detailed, printable PDF reports, and most of them are free — including the Janma Patrika, Sade Sati, Mangal, Kal Sarp, Match Making, Varshphal, Dasha and Gochar Varshik reports. Plus adds AI editions of some reports, and Pro adds specialist ones such as the KP Evidence Sheet and the Pro Yearly AI Analysis. Reports can be produced in English or Hindi.

AstroShruti computes 17 dasha systems, including Vimshottari, Yogini, Ashtottari, Kalachakra and the Jaimini rashi dashas (Chara, Narayana and others). You can view maha-dashas and drill down through sub-periods, all computed from your exact birth details.

You can consult an astrologer through the app. Separately, there is a free Help & Support channel for account questions and for anyone going through a hard time who simply needs a compassionate, human reply — no charge and no booking. If you are an experienced astrologer, you can also apply from within the app to join our panel.

AstroShruti approaches Jyotish as a tradition of guidance and reflection, not fatalism. A chart describes tendencies and timing; it does not lock your future or replace your free will and effort. We hold the knowledge with respect for its roots, and we are always honest about what astrology can and cannot tell you — it is a lamp for the path, not a decree over it. It is also not a substitute for professional medical, legal or financial advice.
